Cyber Security 4 is the planned replacement for Cyber Security Services 3 DPS. The framework will give contracting authorities a route to buy cyber security services under the Procurement Act 2023.

Pre-market engagement will take place before the Invitation to Tender, with information published by the Government Commercial Agency. The opportunity is identified as particularly suitable for SMEs.

YPO’s Dynamic Purchasing System gives public sector organisations access to suppliers for internal fit-out, repair and maintenance work. It covers 15 trade-based lots, allowing specialist contractors to target the services they deliver.

Lots include painting and decorating, plumbing and heating, HVAC, joinery, insulation, M&E, flooring and tiling, kitchens and bathrooms, surveys and treatments, fire systems, doors and partitioning, lifts, disability adaptations and general building work.

Powys County Council has reopened its Dynamic Purchasing System for domiciliary care services following a review. New providers can complete the PQQ and apply to join while the DPS remains open; existing providers do not need to reapply.

The three lots cover sessional domiciliary care, live-in care and services for Powys Teaching Health Board. Providers must be registered with Care Inspectorate Wales to deliver domiciliary support in the Powys regional partnership area.

The Scottish Government is establishing a five-year Dynamic Purchasing System for fire alarm design, installation and associated project management services across Scotland. Call-off contracts may range from thousands to millions of pounds, although no spend is guaranteed.

Lot 1 covers the design and installation of fire detection and alarm systems. Lot 2 covers project management and contract administration for fire alarm work in residential buildings affected by cladding-related fire risk.

Likely supplier fit: Lot 1: qualified fire alarm designers and installers. Lot 2: experienced project managers, contract administrators, building surveyors and construction consultants able to manage fire safety work in occupied residential buildings.

Scope / lot summary: Lot 1 includes new, upgraded, temporary and permanent fire alarm systems, associated enabling work, testing, commissioning, certification and maintenance. Lot 2 includes surveys, specifications, procurement, contractor coordination, resident liaison, approvals, programme and cost monitoring, commissioning oversight and project close-out.

Argyll and Bute Council’s Building Consultancy Services DPS remains open to new consultants throughout its life. Suppliers can submit SPD (Scotland) responses on an ongoing basis and may apply for one or more of 18 specialist lots.

The lots cover architecture, civil and structural engineering, clerk of works, conservation, ecology, geotechnical services, M&E, quantity surveying, building surveying, CDM, landscape and other specialist consultancy services.

Likely supplier fit: Architects, engineers, building and quantity surveyors, clerk of works providers, conservation specialists, ecologists, landscape architects, CDM advisers and other appropriately qualified construction consultants.

Scope / lot summary: The 18 lots are: Architects; Civil Engineers; Clerk of Works; Conservation Architects; Ecological Surveyors; Geotechnical Engineers; Commercial Kitchen Designers; Landscape Architects; Mechanical & Electrical Engineers; Quantity Surveying; Rot/Preservation Works Surveyors; Structural Engineers; Topographical Surveyors; CDM Advisers; Acoustic Engineers; Renewable Energy and Low Carbon Heating Systems Engineers; Building Surveyors; and Conservation/Traditional Building Surveyors.

The London Borough of Newham has extended its Dynamic Purchasing System for temporary accommodation until 23 February 2029. New organisations can apply at any time during the extension if they meet the selection requirements; providers already admitted do not need to apply again.

The DPS covers private sector leasing and nightly-let accommodation, including furnished or unfurnished self-contained units and other short-stay accommodation used to meet the Council’s statutory housing duties.

Likely supplier fit: Temporary accommodation providers, private sector leasing operators, residential property and accommodation management businesses, nightly-let providers and other organisations able to supply suitable self-contained accommodation.

Scope / lot summary: The DPS supports private sector leasing, normally involving self-contained furnished or unfurnished units on a lease, and nightly-let arrangements for furnished self-contained accommodation. It helps the Council meet statutory duties to provide suitable temporary housing.

YPO’s School Uniform DPS is open to suppliers providing school clothing and related accessories to public sector organisations. Products are delivered directly to the end user.

The four lots cover logoed school uniform, standard school uniform, school sportswear, and accessories such as ties, book bags and sports bags. Suppliers can apply through YPO’s procurement portal while the DPS remains open.

Likely supplier fit: School uniform manufacturers, clothing suppliers and distributors, sportswear suppliers, schoolwear specialists, and suppliers of ties, bags and related accessories with direct-to-end-user delivery capability.

Scope / lot summary: Lot 1: logoed school uniform. Lot 2: standard school uniform. Lot 3: school sportswear. Lot 4: accessories including ties, book bags and sports bags.

The Digital and IT Professional Services 2 framework, also known as DIPS 2, is being developed by the Government Commercial Agency to provide access to professional services requirements for digital and IT resource.

The framework will be available to customers with defence and security requirements, including but not limited to the Ministry of Defence, with potential use by the Home Office and FCDO.

The contract will deliver the statutory functions required of the Council as Highway Authority and ensures the Council’s roads and assets are maintained to a good standard. Covers repair, maintenance and associated services related to roads.
